Recommendations and options for drilling with different grip setups
The sensor should be installed in the middle finger hole.

The actual depth of the sensor does not affect the measurements.
Some bowlers have their grips cut down or installed at a shallow depth.
If your grips sit right along the bottom of the finger hole, you can add 13/16″ of depth to the existing hole to fit the sensor.
